Audience Finder 2.0 Beta and its predecessor are designed to make it possible to easily compile a report of key metrics about your audiences, which may be used either for funder reporting, or to access a static snapshot of your insight data to inform internal discussions and decision-making. Reports produced in each platform draw on the same body of an organisation’s ticketing and/or survey data and represent the same metrics, including a breakdown of Audience Spectrum types.

In order to incorporate data from the current or most recently-ended financial year, it’s necessary to generate the report in Audience Finder 2.0 Beta, rather than the original Audience Finder platform. Whereas in the older version of AF it was necessary to specify details about the report, within Beta reports are generated at the click of a button and are immediately visible upon logging in, as below.

It’s worth noting that your organisation must be contributing ticketing and/or survey data to Audience Finder for this to be represented within a report, otherwise your report won’t contain any data. Data will automatically be categorised by financial year, for ease of reporting. You can find specific guidance about generating a report in Beta here.

It’s still also possible to access historic data within the original Audience Finder platform. You can find this within the ‘Reports’ section on the left-hand side of the screen (see below). Please find more specific guidance about reporting in Audience Finder here.
